The research papers, included in this anthology, have been part of the small corpus of literature produced by the author in English but remained scattered in different journals or in various seminar proceedings. All the papers included in this anthology deal with one or the other aspect of Sikh studies. Some of them make an analytical study of select scriptural texts, some others dwell upon and explain some important concepts of the Sikh faith and some try to place Guru Nanak and Sikh religion in the Indian and world religious traditions.
