A Critical Study (In the context of British Press Policy and national movements) – is the revised version of Dr. Pritam Singh’s Thesis for the Ph.D. degree – Analytical study of the banned Punjabi poetry during the British rule. The object of this study was not only to unearth the impounded Punjabi poetry but also to define it in the context of the movements of the same type that were launched during the freedom struggle.
