This is the story about the life and times of Duleep Singh, the last Sikh Maharaja who sat on the throne of the Lahore Durbar. Son of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, he grew up in the lap of power and luxury and became a Maharaja at the tender age of five. Unfortunately as a child he was forcefully separated from his mother and put under the care of a British Resident. The British snatched away his kingdom using diplomatic means. Influenced by the colonial aura surrounding him Duleep Singh embraced Christianity and settled in England. This is the story of his tragic life and struggle against the Britishers to regain his lost kingdom.
