Bachint Kaur
Bachint Kaur (B. 08.02.1940) a Punjabi writer was born to Nand Kaur and Tirlok Singh in village Bharo, district Patiala. She is
married to Sadhu Singh.
She lived in Delhi and was in a government job. Primarily a short story teller, she has also written Punjabi Poetry, autobiography and Children books.
She was awarded Punjabi Academy, Delhi for Kiari Laungan dr (1982-1983). Language Department Punjab awarded her Shiromani Sahitkar Award (2004-2005). Param Satkar Sahit Award (2006) was also awarded to her by Punjabi Academy, Delhi, besides many other awards by different literary forums.
