Tales of Truth is the English translation of the author, Sardar Santokh Singh Jagdev’s book in Punjabi Sach Sunaisi Sach ki Bela published in 1989. This book is collection of small incidents from the biographies of some of the Gurus, leading Sikhs and historic movements of the Sikhs. All these illustrations bring out the salient features of the Sikh religion, namely Sewa, Simran and Kirat (meaning Service to humanity, Meditation and Truthful occupation). The author has analysed the history with great objective, yet not losing the faith of a devotee. The language used is simple, appropriate and fluent.
