K.S. Bajwa has translated the present monograph – Akali Jatha Sacha Sauda Bar (It was published earlier in Punjab by Shironmani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee, Sri Amritsar in 2000, and again in 2002) to highlight the contribution made by an individual namely S. Kartar Singh Jhabbar in the ongoing struggle for the liberation of Gurdwaras, popularly known as the Gurdwara reform movement which brought political awakening among the Sikhs along with the socio-religious consciousness. This piece of literary and historical work will be an eye opener to the researchers and the common readers alike. This will really benefit the students and researchers of the Sikh history.
