In June 1984, the Indian Army attacked Darbar Sahib and other 75 Gurudwrars and killed thousands of Sikh and after this began an era of the killings and persecution of the Sikhs in the whole of the Punjab; almost all the Sikhs between 13 and 45 become victims of the communal and racist Hindu soldiers who lashed a reign of terror; and his continued for several months.
